KPJIC JB Ramadhan Festivity

KPJIC JB continued its tradition in upholding the spirit of caring and generosity towards the plight of the underprivileged through bubur lambuk distribution at Masjid Taman Cendana Pasir Gudang.

The event was hosted by KPJIC Johor along with Taman Cendana Mosque Committee, was packed with activities in preparing, cooking and packing 500 packs of bubur lambuk to be distributed. The distribution of the bubur ended at 6.00 p.m. as it is widely known as delicacy and favorite of many during fasting month.

KPJIC JB Rejoices The Unsung Heroes At Metropolis Tower

24th May 2016 – in conjunction with International Nurses Day in May, KPJIC JB celebrated nurses from KPJ hospitals in Johor at Level 23, Metropolis Tower, Johor Bahru. The celebration was organized and also attended by future nurses from KPJIC JB, operational and teaching staffs.

The invitees were entertained by live performance of traditional and modern dances, hand wash dance routine inspired by Kpop fever and songs and theatrical performance by students of KPJIC JB. It was an excellent platform for the students to show their talent and at the same time establish a good rapport with their future employer and colleagues.

Also happening on that day was the handing over of charitable donations to a representative of Cancer Prevention Society Malaysia Johor branch. The donation was the result of the ‘Rainbow Health Carnival’ which was held on January 9th 2016.

KPJIC JB Riding The Healthcare Rainbow Slide

Located at Adda Height Recreation Park on 9th January 2016, KPJIC JB has organized ‘Rainbow Health Carnival’. The carnival was an initiative taken by the final year Diploma in Nursing with the objectives of raising fund for selected cancer treatment centers, educating the public on the important of healthy lifestyle, instilling the caring value of a health care practitioner as well as promoting KPJIC JB brand value.

The highlight of the event was “Color Run” which received the support from more than 300 runners of all ages. The run was officiated with the present of Mr Haji Abdul Aziz Tohak, Dato Onn City Council member and KPJIC JB CEO, Mr Haji Khairun Ahmad.

Other activities that were conducted were free talks on healthy eating, anti smoking and prevention method for dengue fever, free physical check up for BMI, blood pressure and glucose level, free tutorial on treatment and care for diabetic patient and a blood donation drive which was jointly organized by KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital. The consultation held during the carnival was led by Dr. Sabariah Jamaluddin.
