Halal Transformation & Enforcement Seminar of Sarawak 2016
The Halal Transformation and Enforcement Seminar of Sarawak 2016 held in Miri, Sarawak sponsored by QSR Brands (M) Holdings Sdn Bhd and KPJ Healthcare Berhad drew more than 200 participants and was officiated by YBhg Datuk Haji Misnu Haji Taha, Yang Dipertua, Sarawak Islamic Council.
During the seminar, business zakat amounting to RM70, 502.85 was handed by Mr. Mohd Roslan Mohd Saludin, General Manager of the Department of Islamic and Halal Compliance Sdn Bhd (QSR Brands (M) Holdings) to Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak. The business zakat was managed by Capaian Aspirasi Sdn Bhd, as corporate zakat collector appointed by Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Johor (MAINJ).
In addition to the 2 days seminar, KPJUC was also in attendance and performing a free health screening session, free physiotherapy examination and consultation besides promoting available education programs that KPJUC offer.
