PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Advanced Diploma in Midwifery Nursing program has been designed to provide theoretical and practical knowledge that will enhanced the candidates in a variety of healthcare settings. Potential Registered Nurses with an interest in this field of midwifery will be provided with the opportunities to explore the midwife role in terms of providing high level care, nurses’ skills quality midwifery care, obstetric care and safe motherhood issues.

Duration of Programme: Full Time (1 Year & 1 Month / 3 Semesters)

FUTURE CAREER
Registered as State Certified Midwife (SCM)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Malaysian Students
- Possess Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution
- Registered with the Nursing Board Malaysia (NBM)
- Possess current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for nurses
- Minimum two (2) years clinical working experience
- Minimum three (3) months experience in the related specialty
