PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Master of Paediatrics Program is the second medical specialist training programme at KPJUC. This programme is endorsed by the National Paediatric Conjoint Committee. Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) and Ministry of Education. It provides candidates with the opportunity to be trained in the management and treatment of a wide variety of Paediatric cases in 3 accredited KPJ Specialist hospitals. This 4-year programme follows the UKM/UM/USM conjoint curriculum.
The programme provides an Innovative ompetency-based education program featuring one -to-one. hands-on apprenticeship, supervised by a group of dedicated and experienced KPJ Paediatric consultants.The Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is our collaborator in the urriculum design and assessment to ensure a high quality training programme. Candidates in 2nd. 3rd and 4th year will be posted to Paediatric Department, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre for sub-specialty postings.)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Malaysian Students
- Possess a Medical Degree(MD, MBBS and MBChB) or equivalent qualifications from Universities recognized by the Senate of the University College.
- Must be registered for medical practice by Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate(APC).
- Have passed the Entrance Examination.
- Completed the internship/ housemanship for overseas Malaysian candidates while candidates in Malaysia can apply before completing the compulsory service as a Medical Officer in the Ministry of Health.
- Graduates from non-Commonwealth universities are additionally required to have an acceptable grade of English language proficiency (pass in TOEFL with a score of 750/ IELTS with a score of 7 or an equivalent international English competency test).
- Performance in interview
International Students
- International candidates must possess a valid practicing certificate from the country of origin and a Temporary Practicing Certificate (TPC) from MMC.
- Proficient in the English language:TOEFL score of 750 or IELTS grade 7 or an equivalent international English competency test.
- Financial guarantee or scholarship.
- At least 3 years of working experience after internship at the time of entry into the program.
